New Delhi: On Monday’s session, Pharmaceutical shares traded higher with their sectoral index advances. Around 11:45 AM, the Nifty pharma index was trading at 10241.95 points, up by 2.4 per cent.
During Monday trade, the pharma sector is back on the front seat and driving the stock exchange to its advantage. Majorly the pharma sector results in trading in green in the stock exchange.
While most companies traded green, few sectors traded in the red. Nine of the top 50 companies were in the pharma industry.
Who were the Top Gainers in Trading In Pharma Industry?
The top pharma gainers of Monday’s market were Lupin (up 2.26 per cent), Cipla (up 4.45 per cent), Divis Laboratories (up 1.85 per cent), Dr. Reddys Laboratories (up 0.88 per cent), Torrent Pharmaceuticals (up 0.54 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries (up 0.71 per cent), Biocon (up 1.61 per cent), Aurobindo Pharma (up 0.5 per cent) and Alkem Laboratories (up 0.33 per cent).
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 traded at 10288.65, up by 44.25 points, whereas BSE Sensex was traded at 34856.11 up by 124.38 points.
Overall Stock Performance for the Day
Among the 50 Nifty stocks, 34 traded in green while 16 traded in red.
The most-traded share on the NSE in today’s market session are Federal Bank, Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, PNB, Glenmark Pharma, SBI, RBL Bank Ltd., BHEL and IDFC First Bank Ltd.
